Mark M. Zappala
Associate Attorney
Mark’s practice includes construction defect, personal injury, fire, and motor vehicle accident cases. His unique background, knowledge and experience help him to effectively assist clients in a wide variety of matters.
Mark began his legal apprenticeship as a file clerk, and he has worked his way through the field as a paralegal, law student, and attorney with experience in various jurisdictions throughout California, Texas, New Mexico, and Washington. Mark’s legal experience includes defense of claims involving wildfires, construction accidents, motor vehicle accidents, construction defects, medical malpractice, bankruptcy, and wrongful death.
Mark’s education in classics, and afterward, philosophy, from universities in both the United States and Europe enhances his ability to effectively analyze legal argument from counsel and provide effective case analysis, strategy, and argument.
Mark joined Gillaspy & Rhode (Gillaspy Rhode Faddis & Benn LLC in 2023) as an associate in 2018. Mark’s love of Washington State, born from family roots, brought him to practice here. Outside the office, Mark enjoys hiking, fishing, kayaking, playing basketball and spending time with his family.
